Dr Abbas Tejani
GP, Educator, Occupational Physician, Primary Care Surgeon
Founding member of Olympus Health Abbas is a Principal GP based in Leicester with a phenomenal experience in primary care and providing commissioned services. Abbas has worked for both the CCG and the Executive Board at his local hospital trust.
Abbas has worked as a Primary Care Surgeon for a number of years, undertaking 1,500 to 2,000 procedures a year. He has worked for 18 months undertaking skin cancer excisions in the Dermatology department at his local hospital trust. Additionally, he travels both nationally and internationally as an RCGP-accredited tutor to teach Minor Surgery and Joint Injections to GPs.
Abbas is an Honorary Associate Professor at the Centre for Primary Care Research at De Montfort University. He is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at University of Leicester Medical School, where he chairs the City Academy and is also a tutor on the CHDD course.
